Business networking is about developing relationships and not the immediate sale. When meeting someone at a business networking event get them talking about themselves, ask them about their business and what they do and most importantly listen.By getting them to talk about themselves, firstly they feel good as we all like to talk about ourselves even if we don’t admit it.
Secondly by them telling you about themselves and what they do, you know how best to serve them and can highlight the features of your product and service that best suit their needs.
